Since the dawn of the Dilmun civilization, and throughout the centuries that followed it until today, Bahrain has always been a distinguished and active center for the manufacturing of jewelry, fine pearl works, and gold.

At the heart of civilizations of the ancient world and its strategic location along trade routes crossing via land and sea, Bahrain bore the right facets to prosperously develop its activities and industries. It accumulated rich traditions, skills, and experiences in the creation and diversification of its designs, and various types of decoration ranging from polishing, shaping, engraving, and setting of gold and precious stones.
