Dr. Ibrahim Abdullah Matar is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Bahrain, he holds a PhD from the University of Reading, United Kingdom 1994. Dr. Matar is interested in the history of ancient Bahrain and historical images of Bahrain. In his lecture, Dr. Matar will address the history the Island of Muharraq and the pioneering role of Muharraq in education, economy, transportation and trade.
The lecture will be in Arabic.
