23 April 2012 The Minister of Culture Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa today took part in the 1st Turk Arab Tourism Meeting

The Minister of Culture Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa today took part in the 1st Turk Arab Tourism Meeting, ATCEX 2012,  being held in Bursa province in Turkey under the patronage of the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The event is being organised by the Arab Tourism Organization with the participation of 22 Arab and Islamic countries. On this occasion Shaikha Mai affirmed that Bahrain's participation comes to affirm the role of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its prominent presence on the cultural and tourism arena. This she stressed was due to the great potential and outstanding constituents that Bahrain enjoys related to cultural, heritage and tourism associated with exhibitions and conferences. Shaikha Mai also affirmed that Bahrain had proven its status in the field of cultural tourism in various fields through Manama as the Capital of Arab Culture 2012 and its preparation to host Manama, as the Capital of Arab Tourism 2013.

She also highlighted the fact that Bahrain was striving towards attracting tourism investments towards achieving sustainable economic growth for the kingdom in addition to attaining investment.

Bursa Governor's Office and the Arab Tourism Organization (ATO) will be held in collaboration with 1 Turkish-Arab Meeting, April 22 to 24 will take place on Bursa Merinos Atatürk Congress and Culture Center.
Turkish-Arab Tourism meeting attended by 21 Arab countries, Turkey and Arab countries, the tourism industry development and mutual cooperation in many fields, such as increasing employment plans are to hold.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND boards of the Arab League countries, and tourism ministry, the Arab and Turkish ministers and authoritarian, Islamic Cooperation Organization, UNWTO, the Islamic Development Bank, the Arab Tourism Organization, the Islamic Union of Chambers of Commerce, Union of Chambers of Tourism, WTTC ATCEX'e representatives will attend.
Organization, 23, and April 24 institutions from different sectors in the Arab world and the participation of Turkish companies in trade fairs and business development, one to one meetings will continue.
