04 October 2012 Chart-Topping Artist ZADE in Third Performance of 21st Bahrain International Music Festival “Jordan’s Cultural Ambassador” thrills crowd with his signature style
Billboard chart-topping pianist Zade Dirani (ZADE), referred to as “Jordan’s Cultural Ambassador”, thrilled the capacity crowd at the Cultural Hall in the third night of the 21st Bahrain International Music Festival (Oct 2nd). The young artist, who is known for his infectious enthusiasm and personal flair in his concerts, brought the audience to its feet while performing some of his best-known works in his trademark upbeat style, which combined Arabic music with Latin and Pop influences in an homage to peace and friendship between nations.
The week-long festival is part of the “music month” – the 9th month of the year-long “Manama: Capital of Arab Culture 2012” program. Performances by acclaimed artists Mohammed Al-Amin (Sudan), Amina Srarfi and El Azifet (Tunisia), Orquesta de Camara Reina Sofia (Spain) are next on the slate. The daily concerts start at 8 p.m., with the sixth and final concert scheduled for Friday, October 5th.
