Ministry of Culture shares with the Arab World experiences to draw Bahrain’s future eco-tourism strategy

 

A discussion forum on “Eco-tourism: Bahrain’s new Tourism Identity” is organized by the Ministry of culture on Monday 25 November 2013 at Arcapita bank building. The discussion is held at a time Manama is celebrating “ Eco-tourism season”, as part of the Capital of Arab Tourism 2013 festivities. The discussion, which will start at 11:00 at Arcapita aims to unveil Bahrain’s new eco-tourism roadmap and its strategy prospects, in the presence of H.E Shaikha Mai bint Mohammad Al-Khalifa, H.E Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al-Khalifa, Assistant Undersecretary for Tourism, representatives of the World Tourism Organization and a number of tourism and environment experts. 

The discussion will review a series of Arab and international experiences in this regard, ways of their development, types of their architecture manifestations and their regional, economic and social development roles. The discussion aims to unveil Bahrain’s new eco-tourism roadmap and its strategy prospects.

Elements of eco-tourism in Bahrain centered on activities and marine sports and race cars The Bahrain web site within the center of the Arabian Gulf and being the middle of the pearl trade and its beaches and traveler resorts and oases has become a magnet for tourists scientist for calm. Indeed, H.E Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa, Minister of Culture, has earlier commended the cooperation between the World Tourism Organisation (WTO) and Bahrain tourism authorities and experts to promote the sector. H.E stressed efforts to promote Manama's tourism identity and ensure a place on the map of the tourism industry in the world.
