Culture Authority Special Ramadan Annual Staff Gathering

Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities, held its BACA’s Ramadan annual employees gathering “ Ghabga” at Nakhool Tent near Qala’at al Bahrain Site Museum. H.E Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities attended the press conference, as well as diplomats, BACA different departments’ officials and media personalities.

The meeting venue was very symbolic, near Qala’t Al Bahrain, the first Bahraini UNESCO World Heritage Site and amid BACA’s year-long celebration of “ Our year of Archaeology 2017”. Addressing the ceremony, H.E Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa thanked the employees for their dedicated contribution and strenuous efforts which projected Bahrain as a cultural model in the world. H.E stressed the importance of disseminating positive spirit and building joint relations between the staff to enhance performance and enrich BACA projects.

The meeting was very special and diversified events planned, promoting the cultural and traditional aspects of Ramadan accompanied by sweet nostalgic music hits by Mohammad bin Faris Band, performed by Artists Abdullah Al-Hajji and Ahmad Al-Qassem. Indeed, the theme of BACA’s Ghabga has always been in line with H.E Shaikha Mai’s strategic objective focusing on further strengthening an already effective corporate culture, aiming mainly at solidifying relationships among employees. The event had also its usual raffle for many valuable great prizes. H.E honoured Mr Mustapha Ibrahim Salman for his many years of dedication, long-term commitment and outstanding achievements at the Department of Archaeology at BACA.

Worth to mention that BACA held a he press conference announced a series of amazing events planned by Bahrain Summer Festival, organized by the Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities, offering locals and tourists an exciting and entertaining line-up of events, which will start from 7 July till 7 August, taking place at the Cultural Hall near the Bahrain National Museum and Nakhool tent.Bahrain Summer Festival is sponsored by Ammar Basheir Studio for art , the Creative Design company, BAPCO, UNITAG and SHOWTECH companies. In addition, Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities would like also to express its gratitude to the French embassy, the embassy of Thailand, the embassy of the United States, Egypt, Yemen, Palestine, Japan and Indonesia embassies for their valuable support and contribution to Bahrain Summer Festival events’ success.
