“Honoring Mom”, Culture Authority organizes a children’s workshop at Bahraini National Museum
Every year, on this special day, Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities organizes a special children’s event devoted to Mother's Day, honouring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, mother bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. Two workshops for children are scheduled on 23 March at Bahrain National Museum. Registration required.
The first workshop is dedicated for kids (6-9 years –old), while the second one is devoted to 10-15 years old children. Both workshops will kick off at 10:00 am until 13:00 pm. Participants and parents who would like their children to take part in this workshop, are requested to register online via BACA’s official web site: www.culture.gov.bh Free admission.
The first workshop will encourage the little ones to make a frame manually and put the mother’s picture and the child ( participants are required to bring family picture , while the second workshop will celebrate Mother's Day by letting children make a heart made of wool threads and pins. Later they will gift it to their Mums.
