Coinciding with “ Dolls of Japan” Exhibition, Bahrain National Museum’s Workshop on Origami-making
Bahrain National Museum is organizing an interactive workshop titled “Make your Japanese dolls by Origami” for children aged between 8 – 12 years old, on Saturday 26 October 2019 at 11:00 am. Participants under 12 years- old wishing to take part in this workshop, are requested to login on its website and register via : www.culture.gov.bh
The workshop coincides with the “ Dolls of Japan” , hosted in cooperation with the Japanese Embassy from 13 October until 13 November 2019. This workshop aims to present the culture of Dolls in Japan by using Origami art. Origami is the Japanese art of paper folding. Traditionally, all origami pieces must be folded from one sheet of square paper.
