Through photography and culinary arts, the talented duo, Artist & Photographer Mai AlMoataz and Chef Tala Bashmi, will present to you a captivating evening on 24 January at the Bahrain National Museum as part of "Food is Culture". Mai, through photography, has a goal of exploring the paradoxical relationship between the inward worlds of her subjects versus their outward form, and Tala, takes her inspiration from her homeland, Bahrain, where she often conceptualizes local culinary techniques and ingredients, and creates unorthodox tasteful combinations.
