Ms. Aronte will discuss how she has strived, along with Mexico, to develop the original Mexican cuisine and the path to designation as part of UNESCO world heritage.

 

About Margarita:

She has been active all her adult life with the promotion of food and cooking. She is not only a chef but also an active writer and speaker. Her resume is immense but it is worth mentioning several positions of note. She was executive chef for the G-20 Summit and World Economic Forum in Davos, she hosted several television shows regarding Mexican food, and is founder of several postgraduate courses on cuisine, but her greatest contribution isher inspirationand promotion for Mexican cuisine-worldwide.

 

Her extensive efforts have contributed to Mexican culinary traditions being included on the UNESCO world heritage list.
