Al Jasra Handicrafts Center organizes the Making Bakhour workshop for beginners, and uses incense for aesthetic reasons, aromatherapy, meditation, and celebrations. It can also be used as a simple deodorant or insect repellent. In all regions of the world, there are many different forms and mixtures.

First Day:
• Definition of the art of incense making
• The way incense is made
• Tools used in the manufacture of incense
• Requirements to be observed when making incense
Second Day:
• Incense ingredients
• Standards used in the manufacture of incense
• Learn about the specifications of the oud
Third Day:
• Learning how to make incense
Fourth Day:
• Application of incense work
Workshop Outcomes:
• Learn how to work (Bahraini incense - lubricated oud - colored frankincense - scented oud)
