Smock Stitch (Beehive) Workshop

Details of the Workshop:

Al Jasra Handicrafts Center organizes a Smock Stitch (Beehive).  The workshop focuses on learning about the art of folding cloth "Smock" by identifying the tools used and the stages necessary to obtain a wonderful and attractive product, where it will be clarified how to draw the shape and transfer it on the canvas and use stitches.

 Workshop details:

• Recognize fabric types
• Drawing on canvas
• Learn to fold the canvas
• Training on the flower stich & Beehive stiches
• Embroidery on fabric

 Workshop Outcome:

• Stitches are using to make a baby dress & jalabiya

 Age: 14 years and above.

Language:  English & Arabic
