Cement Workshop

Al Jasra Handicrafts Center organizes a cement workshop, and cement, is a soft bonding material that hardens and becomes hard when mixed with water, to be able to connect concrete components with each other, to form strong building materials, resistant to various environmental influences, cement usually consists of clay and limestone, and there are two types of cement: hydroceutic and non-hydro cement.

Workshop topics include:

• Presenting the cement affects and uses in our life.
• Train the trainee to use specific materials to isolate the cement surfaces from the water and the dust affects.
• Give the trainee the whole information about the places/ Websites to buy the necessary cement's raw materials, which will help him / her to start his / her business.

Workshop Outcomes:

• Training the trainee to make flowers pot or an incense holder as per the trainee willingness.
• Training the trainee to make a coaster or a medal as per the trainee
• Train the trainee to decorate the cement products.

Age: 14 and above.
