Making Bakhoor Workshop

Details of the Workshop:

Al Jasra Handicrafts Center organizes the Making Bakhoor workshop, and uses incense for aesthetic reasons, aromatherapy, meditation, and celebrations. It can also be used as a simple deodorant or insect repellent. In all regions of the world, there are many different forms and mixtures.

Workshop topics include:

• Definition of the art of incense making
• The way incense is made
• Tools used in the manufacture of incense
• Requirements to be observed when making incense
• Incense ingredients
• Standards used in the manufacture of incense
• Learn about the specifications of the oud
• Learning how to make incense
• Application of incense work

 Workshop Outcomes:

•  Learn how to work (Bahraini incense - lubricated oud - colored frankincense - scented oud)
• Workshop fees (including all tools).

 Age: 14 and above.

 Language:  English & Arabic
