On the occasion of the International Day of the Seafarer, which is celebrated annually on 25 June, the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities organizes a workshop entitled “My Handmade Boat” for children and young adults. Through this workshop, children learn the names of ancient ships, the making method and the materials used in its making.
