The Young Artisan of "The Mother of a Million Palm Trees"

Details about the workshop:

The Young Artisan of Al Jasra Handicrafts Center is organizing a workshop on “The Mother of a Million Palm Trees", will enable child talents to use creative imagination when molding, touching, and using palm leaves, fronds and other the parts of its structure to make some tangible materials. The workshop will be conducted in an interesting educational way, teaching and training children how to wicker saff.

 Workshop topics include:

•  Identifying the parts of the palm tree through intellectual and motor games.
• Manual work by assembling the pieces and completing them with Training in wicker saff.

Workshop Outcomes:

 An integrated model of the palm tree produced by the child.

 Location:  House of Basket Weaving

Age: 7 – 12 Years
