H.E Shaikha Mai Bids Farewell to the Emirati Ambassador to Bahrain

H.E Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities (BACA)President, received, on 7 March 2018, the outgoing UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, H.E Abdul Redha Abdulla Khoury. H.E thanked the Ambassador of United Arab Emirates for his tireless efforts to strengthen the bilateral cultural relations between both countries.

H.E lauded the special relationship between Bahrain and the UAE and hailed the strong historic fraternal relations between Bahrain and the UAE, praising the positive role played by the UAE at the Arab and international levels. H.E described bilateral ties as a model of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) unity based on mutual respect and common denominators including religion, language, kinship, common destiny and unwavering commitment to protecting the security of the Arabian Gulf and ensuring its progress and prosperity. H.E commended the role of the GCC states, including the United Arab Emirates, in enriching cultural life in Bahrain through their participation in annual activities and events. The UAE outgoing envoy hailed deep-rooted fraternal relations, stressing his country’s keenness on pursuing their participation in Bahrain’s cultural and intellectual development.

H.E Abdul Redha Abdulla Khoury, UAE Ambassador, expressed satisfaction and deep appreciation that the relationship between their two countries continues to grow and strengthen, affirming that the UAE will always support and appreciate the Bahraini cultural heritage. Emirati Ambassador expressed UAE’s constant readiness to participate and cooperate with BACA, contributing to the intellectual and cultural development in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the sustainable cultural development in GCC countries in general.
