Farah Matar Appointed as Director of Culture & Arts, At Bahrain Culture Authority
As per His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, May God Protect Him, Edict ( 16/2019, Farah Mohammed Khalid Mattar has been appointed as Director of Culture and Arts at the Bahrain Authority for Culture &Antiquities (BACA), and henceforth, has joined the highest management staff members.
A professional with a Bachelors of Fine Arts focused in Interior Design from Suffolk University ( in 2000), Farah Matar holds many other specilaised recognized certificates in management, leadership, marketing and media.
Before joining Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities’ team , Farah Matar worked as Events Manager at Bahrain Economic Development Board, and Manager-Global Communications at the same board, which she joined in 2005. Worth to mention that Farah Matar statrted her prfessional career Assistant Senior Specialist Promotion and Media, at the Central Bank of Bahrain. Farah Matar is also experienced in managing high performing teams to achieve positive results and consistently exceeding goals.
