Heralding a specially rich agenda for 2019, baptized  as the “Year of Celebrations”, Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities, is set is  set to launch  Bahrain’s 45th  Annual Fine Arts Exhibition edition on February 2019 at new venue, Arena Tent, at the Ritz carlton Hotel-Bahrain. This most-waited annual event is held under the patronage of H.R.H. Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, since its inception in 1972.

What characterizes this edition is the outstanding  high rate of participants , professional artists and amateurs, exceeding 300 requests coming from various artistic disciplines, such as painting with all its schools, photography, assembly works, video applications, multimedia, and others.

Considered to be the biggest and most important annual meeting of artists in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the  Annual Fine Arts Exhibition, set in a broader and wider venue this year, will showcase exceptional and unique artworks by symbolic and iconic painters and characters who have shaped the plastic arts’ history in Bahrain. This year’s novelty will certainly the warm welcome the Exhibition has made to two of most prominent galleries in the Arab World, namely Athr Gallery ( Saudi Arabia), Agial Art Gallery, Beirut, Lebanon. Between those two, the visitor will be amazed by the variety of the modern artworks displayed, young talented and creative artists showcasing a colorful display of styles, video applications,  multimedia techniques, and other  different mediums of expression, produced by Arab artists from the Arab Gulf region, Middle East, Egypt, Sudan and North Africa region. 

A specially dedicated exhibition space will allocated to artworks to be showcased at Al-Riwaq and Al-Bareh galleries, given their important role during the last decade in moulding and framing a new creative and talented generation  of artists through the organization of solo exhibitions, workshops, implementation of expertise exchange projects between Bahraini artists and their Arad and international counterparts. Finally, Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition will present, as it has always been the case, the annual participations of Bahraini and resident  artists, as well as artworks by pioneers of the Fine Art movement in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
