Bahrain Culture Authority Announces the 14th Edition Spring of Culture Festival Events, At Al-Hidaya Al Khalifiyah Library, Muharraq
Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities, the Economic Development Board and Shaikh Ebrahim bin Mohammad Al Khalifa Center for Culture & Research, in cooperation with Albareh Art Gallery and La Fontaine Gallery, announced the details of the 14th Edition of the Spring of Culture Festival events 2019. The press conference was held at Al Khalifiayh Library, Muharraq, on 11 February 2019, at 12:00 pm.
The press conference venue selection to be Al Khalifiayh Library, Muharraq, as the platform to launch the 14th Edition of the Spring of Culture Festival, reflects BACA’s efforts to celebrate major achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in a year baptized as “ Year of Celebrations 2019”. In addition, Al Khalifiayh Library, Muharraq will celebrate its 100th Anniversary this year
The 14th Edition of the Spring of Culture Festival presents a bouquet of a thousand flowers, ranging between amazing pulsating music, phenomenal performances, global talents to be hosted by cultural institutions, historical sites and iconic urban centers around Bahrain, building thus a bridge between Bahrain and the world at large. The 14th Edition of the Spring of Culture festival kicks off on 25 February 2019, coinciding with Arab Tourism Day, held on 25 February each year, adopted by the “ Manama Capital of Arab Tourism 2013”, and also coincides with the birthday of Arab renowned explorer traveler Ibn Batutah.
The Spring of Culture festival, which will continue until end of April 2019, is an entertainment extravaganza which lights up the island, bringing an array of exhibitions, culture, art and music concerts, round table discussions, literature and intellectual circles, theatre and literature events, and many others activities.
