National Theaters Hosts “Scheherazade” Ballet

 

Held in commemoration of Arab Tourism Day, the Bahrain National Theatre hosts, on 24 February 2019, the mostly –renowned art production “Scheherazade”, a ballet production based on One Thousand and One Nights, as the first Russian ballet concert to kick off The 14th Edition of the Spring of Culture Festival. The show will feature most famous and talented Bolshoi Ballet dancers and great talents of Mariinski  accompanied and  well played by  live Saint Petersburg Academic Symphony Orchestra.

To meet unprecedented and overwhelming demand for tickets, which they went on sale, Bahrain Culture Authority  has announced that tickets, unfortunately, tickets are sold out given the outstanding  demand by lovers of this exceptional ballet shows. “Scheherazade”, a ballet production based on One Thousand and One Nights. It was originally performed by Ballet Russes, the most influential ballet company of the 20th century. The production went down as a major landmark of the entire art world whose lasting legacy can be attributed to the visionary founder of Ballet Russes’ founder, Sergey Diaghilev, who commissioned collaborations among young innovators that resulted in masterpieces whose impact continues to present day.

 The 14th Edition of the Spring of Culture Festival, running until April 2019,  presents a bouquet of a thousand flowers, ranging between amazing pulsating music, phenomenal performances, global talents to be hosted by cultural institutions, historical sites and iconic urban centers around the Kingdom of  Bahrain.
