Bahrain Culture Authority Takes Part in the 44th Edition of Kuwait International Book Fair
Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities is taking part in the 44th Edition of Kuwait International Book Fair, with Britain as Guest of Honor this year.
Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities pavilion features all kinds of different literary and cultural publications, especially those translated titles and books produced by Knowledge Transfer Project, as well as other diverse cultural publications. In addition, BACA’s pavilion will also showcase a variety of publications about literature, history, archaeology, heritage, art and culture.
The 44th edition of the exhibition will start on Wednesday and will last until November 30, with the participation of about 488 publishers from 30 Arab and foreign countries.Participating publishing houses will offer visitors about 500,000 book titles, including 13,000 new titles from 2019 editions. In addition, the cultural program of the exhibition includes lectures, seminars, poetry evenings, workshops and visual presentations, in addition to the participation of many public benefit institutions and reading clubs, as well as interactive activities, programs and competitions for children. On the sidelines of the Kuwait International Book Fair, the GCC Book Fair Managers will meet.
