Bahrain Culture Authority Unveils Major Archaeological Discovery, Dating to the Christian Period in a Press Conference

 

Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities announces a rare trove of  important archaeological discovery, a unique artifact that represents a missing link  that will unveil unknown history of Christianity and its better understanding in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The announcement will be made on 28 November in a press conference.

The discovery was  made by British Archaeological Expedition led by Professor Timothy Insol,   Dr Rachel MacLean from University of Exeter, and Dr Salman Al Mahari, Bahrain Culture Authority, at Samaheej site, Muharraq.
