Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities launched on 27 November 2019, a challenging unique art dialogue exhibition, “ Though Their Eyes”,  bringing together two senior government officials, H.E Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities  and H.E Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowment. The inauguration was held with the presence of ministers and ambassadors, along with a number of officials, artists and media representatives.

The exhibition, which  will continue until 1 January 2020 and will be open from 4:00-8 pm, reveals a genuine natural gift for artistic creations in the personality of  H.E Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa and H.E Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa , reflected through  exceptional paintings drawn with  lot of patience and accuracy  and photos taken with  a passion for excellent photographic craftsmanship. The exhibition is held at the historical Al-Hedaya Al-Kahlifiyah School, celebrating its 100th Anniversary in 2019, as part of BACA’s yearlong slogan “ A Year of Celebrations”.

H.E Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa’s paintings deliver a sensational and  accurate depictions of famous Bahraini personalities and faces, such as HH the late Emir Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Sheikh Ebrahim Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and the Late Sheikh Ebrahim Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Sheikh Ebrahim Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa,  turning portraits into a matter of prestige, power and sophistication. Other portraits of people that are symbols of family values and universal causes were also depicted in this exhibition.

H.E Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa’s different photos exhibition  is a photographic interpretation of history of  life on Earth, featuring detailed images with documented texts and stories about the works as well as an innovative timeline the Sea and the Sea, standing thus, as a witness to the eternal change of seasons and people. The photos reflect in infinite refined artistic visual craftsmanship, heralding the birth of new dawn of beauty. 
 
Worth to mention that Al-Hedaya Al-Khalifiyah School, founded in 1919 in the northern part of the city of Muharraq, is the first modern boys school in Bahrain, and is considered a significant milestone of modern education in the Kingdom. The building, which  was restored by Bahrain Culture Authority to host a permanent display dedicated to documenting the history of education in the Kingdom, is part of the historical cultural buildings of the city of Muharraq, in addition to UNESCO Pearling Path, Dar al Muharraq, Bahrain Pavilion at Milano Expo, “ Archaeologies of Green” etc.
