German Group “Treptow” Genuine Album Concert, At the Cultural Hall

 

The German rock band "Treptow", which  has long been regarded as being amongst the most successful and innovative in Europe, performed  a memorable concert night at the Cultural Hall, on 23 October 201. The event was organized in cooperation with the German Embassy to the Kingdom of Bahrain, as part of the 28th  edition of Bahrain International Music Festival, in the presence of the German Ambassador, H.E Kai Boeckmann, top diplomats and many enthusiasts lovers of culture in Bahrain.
 
The Germany rock from krautrock impressive concert,  performed totally in German language,  fascinated audience and  mesmerized them by the talent and tenacity and vibrancy of Philipp Taubert (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Schuwe (bass) and Lukas Lindner  (drums) who were applauded and appreciated by sensational music styles ranging between pop, rock and alternative/independent music.  

German band based in Berlin, founded in 2015, has succeeded in short time to conquer the hearts and minds of music lovers in Europe and all over the world, performing memorable live concerts, much acclaimed and applauded by vibrant audiences.

the band released their self-produced debut album in mid-September 2017, which landed directly into iTunes charts. Their three single releases earned them remarkable success with radio stations like RadioEINS, RBB Fritz, RBB radioBERLIN, NDR 2, 91.7 XFM, MDR Jump, SR 3, HR 3 and more. They have played over 150 concerts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and have accompanied artists such as Nena, Silly, Jesper Munk, Haudegen and many more.

Worth to mention that the acclaimed festival of Bahrain International Music Festival, which  will run until 26 October 2019, comes part of the Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities’ year-long celebrations, under the theme “Our Year of Celebrations”. The festival will highlight various musical genres ranging from orchestra, rock and pop, to the Kingdom’s very own traditional tunes. Bahrain Culture Authority would like to express its thanks to several embassies in the Kingdom that have a great contribution towards the festival success this year, such as the Embassy of France and the Embassy of Germany.
