H.E Shaikha Mai bint Mohammad Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), received on 29 August 2019,  Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Suha Rifaat. Both parties discussed ways and means of  bolstering bilateral ties, stressing the need to booster cultural relations between the two brotherly countries in order to solid culture relations.

H.E Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammad Al-Khalifa, BACA President,  commended the solid brotherly relations and cultural cooperation between the two countries, praising the active Egyptian presence in the local cultural scene, as manifested recently    the arguing that that Bahrain seeks enriching its cultural activities by communicating with  during Bahrain Summer Festival 2019. H.E also thanked Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain, H.E  Suha Rifaat, for her strong belief in the cultural action work and her constant support for BACA’s projects and activities.

The Egyptian Ambassador, in her turn, congratulated H.E Shaikha Mai bint Mohammad Al Khalifa for “ Revitalization of Muharraq” Project Winner of 2019 Aga Khan Award for Architecture, which reflects BACA’s President strategic vision, combining both private and public sectors to preserve the urban heritage of historical cities, thus promoting the bright image of the country deeply-rooted civilization. Ambassador Suha Rifaat also expressed her happiness to cooperate constantly with Bahrain’s Authority to offer an array of cultural challenging interactive relationships between both countries.
