The 12th edition of Bahrain Summer Festival continues to offer an array of mazing events online to its lovers, presenting, on 6 August 2020, an exceptional music concert by Mohammad Bin Faris Music Band, broadcasted live by Bahrain Culture Authority at 7:00 pm, while an Italian music concert “Gen Rosso”, organized in collaboration with the Italian embassy, will be broadcasted at 8:00 pm. Considered as one of the most acclaimed folk music bands in Bahrain, and consisting of elite musicians from distinguished folk music groups, the band performs various traditional songs part of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s cultural heritage, setting sail with the musical sounds of Mohammed bin Faris Band in a lyrical voyage which regales audiences with tales of a pealing diver’s life from festive melodies to working songs and farewell ballads. What characterizes their performances from other folk groups is their focus on genres that recall the nation’s pearling past like Fan Al Sout, al Bastah, khammari, and other traditional Bahraini songs. 
The international performing arts group Gen Rosso, known for the internationality of their members, as well as their support of cultural dialogue and solidarity, communicates messages of peace and universal brotherhood, thus claiming the UNESCO Prize for Peace Education in 1996.
