Bahrain Culture Authority Celebrates Eid El Adha, Rebroadcasts a concert in tribute to the Late Abu Bakr Salem on its You Tube Channel

 

In celebration of Eid Al-Adha, the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities presents the musical evening A Tribute to Abu Baker Salem presented by the Bahraini artist Mohammed Al Bakri and the Bahrain Music Band on the first day of Eid, Friday the 31st of July, starting at 7:00 pm on the Authority’s official website @culturebah on YouTube channel. Indeed, the Cultural Hall had previously hosted this concert in June 2018. 

During this amazing music concert, artist Mohammad Al-Bakri revives the sweetest memories evoked by the legacy of the Great star, Abu Bakr Salem, performing a selection diversified songs of the late artist, which were written by the masters of Arabic poetry and   composed by most prominent Arab musicians. The list of songs performed by the artist in this concert include: ‘Sirr Hobbi”, “Abu Janaheen”, Ya Sommar”, “ Ya Sahran”, Salam”, Ya Tair dhawi” etc. 

 Worth to mention that Bahrain Culture Authority has started to carry out its work plan strategy masterminding a visionary endeavor transforming the actual daily activities into virtual reality shows and events. In fact, Bahrain Culture Authority started as early as the pandemic outbreak to implement this vision by offering an array of cultural and educational events via its educational portal and other websites on a daily basis. The 2020 edition of Bahrain Summer Festival, held between 2-31 August, coincides this year with Bahrain Culture Authority’s moto in 2020, which is devoted to highlight “Dilmun: Land of Density”.
