H.E Shaikha Mai receives Bahrain Commercial Facilities Company’s Chairman
H.E Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammad Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities, received Mr. Abdurrahman bin Youssef Fakhro, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Commercial Facilities Company, on 3rd march 2020, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides.
During the meeting, H.E Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammad Al-Khalifa lauded the role played by Bahrain Commercial Facilities Company in supporting cultural movement enrichment in the Kingdom of Bahrain. H.E praised the company’s generous support and for renovation and inauguration of the new Burial Mounds Hall at Bahrain National Museum, known to visitors as Dilmun Mounds Hall History, which was registered on UNESCO World Heritage List last year. H.E also stressed the importance of team work and concerted efforts by all parties, private and public, to enhance the historical bright achievements of a great nation.
Mr. Abdurrahman bin Youssef Fakhro, for his part, valued highly the efforts and the keenness of Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities to involve all social categories of the Bahraini society, as well as the local business community, in order to boost and develop a strong and effervescent cultural scene. Mr. Fakhro voiced his constant readiness to cooperate with BACA in delivering artistic, literary and intellectual activities that would attract visitors and residents in order to promote the civilizational assets of Bahrain as an international historical cultural attractive center.
