H.E Shaikha Mai Receives the Chief Executive Officer, Arcapita Bank.

H.E Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, welcomed in her office, on 1 December 2021, Mr. Atif Abdul Malek, the Chief Executive Officer of Arcapita Bank. The meeting comes as part of cooperation and communication between both parties to enhance the cultural infrastructure in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

H.E Shaikha Mai Mohammed Al Khalifa lauded the contribution and sponsorship of the Arcapita group holdings and the importance of the role played to enrich the cultural scene in Bahrain, resulting to fruitful projects, such as “Invest in Culture” project. Indeed, this later endeavor has helped to establish Qala’at Al-Bahrain Fort Site Museum, the first Bahraini site registered on UNESCO World Heritage List.

For his part, Mr. Atif Abdul Malek, thanked H.E Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammed Al Khalifa for her unrelenting efforts to preserve the kingdom’s heritage and promote cultural action and endeavors in Bahrain. Mr. Abdul Malek asserted that private-public partnership in cultural affairs would certainly contribute to increasing development of historical cultural projects and safeguard cultural heritage, underlining constant support to BACA’s programs aimed at promoting Bahrain’s image on world stage. He also expressed his readiness to further cooperation and contribute to implementing pioneering historical and civilizational achievements.
