Read with Yusra (Weaving Craft)

Details of the Workshop:

As part of the "The Young Artisan “program, Al Jasra Handicrafts Center organizes a creative interactive workshop a reading workshop title “Read with Yusra”, (weaving craft). Children will learn in this workshop about the story of our history of textile craft in Bahrain, its deeply rooted history in the Kingdom of Bahrain, explore wooden weaving loom techniques.

Workshop topics include:

• Telling the story of (weaving craft)
• The importance of textile weaving craft in Bahrain.
• Learn about the required tools and techniques to master textile weaving craft.

Workshop Outcomes:

• The participant will discover how the wooden weaving loom works and put that theoretical knowledge into practice.
