Songs and music of TV drama. These series spoke society’s language, in terms of the reality and aspirations that they portray, and had a massive impact on forming the identities of the Bahraini and Arab societies on a similar level, while leaving a memorable mark in our contemporary history. Artists from Egypt will share with their Bahraini counterparts the beauty of sweet rhythms echoing in the night.

Worth to mention that the Bahrain Music Band was established in 1997 to be an active player in enriching the local cultural scene. The band’s first concert, "Oriental Manifestations", was held in April 1998, and was met with widespread enthusiasm and acclaim. This concert was a springboard for a large number of performances in various national events, which cemented the band's name in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Since coming under the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, the band had successful participations in events in the Arab and Western countries, including Jordan, Tunisia, Egypt, Kuwait and France.

Worth to mention that the acclaimed festival of Bahrain International Music Festival, which  will run until 26 October 2019, comes part of the Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities’ year-long celebrations, under the theme “Our Year of Celebrations”. The festival will highlight various musical genres ranging from orchestra, rock and pop, to the Kingdom’s very own traditional tunes. Bahrain Culture Authority would like to express its thanks to several embassies in the Kingdom that have a great contribution towards the festival success this year, such as the Embassy of France and the Embassy of Germany.
