Bahrain will represented by artist Adnan Al-Ahmad at the 8th  Beijing International Art Biennale, to be held in China until 23 September 2019, with his symbolic oil  painting “ Spirit Conversation”.

In fact, this  is the first participation of the Kingdom of Bahrain at this major international art event, gathering more than 125 nations, while exhibitions will surpass the number of 600, all held under the theme  The BIAB, with "a Colorful World and a Shared Future".

Worth mentioning that, educated in France,  Adnana Al-Ahmad  is a painter and muralist with a long and distinguished artistic record. Over the years the artist has developed a unique painterly style characterized by simplified and geometric figures and compositions. Inspired by music, poetry, philosophy and personal memories, Adnan Al Ahmed’s work seeks to express deeply personal memories and thought processes that are simultaneously fundamentally human.

The artist has exhibited prolifically in Bahrain, the UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Egypt and Europe, particularly France. In 2014, he was awarded the Order of Efficiency First Class by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Initiated in 2003, Beijing International Art Biennale, China (BIAB), the event has attracted over 4000 artists from more than 100 countries as well as over a million audiences have participated in this event, which t has become a key international exchange platform in fine arts with the most participant countries.
