In her new series of works, Marwa Al Khalifa turns her camera to nature to produce playful, and yet thought provoking, grids, contemplating on the effect of light onto our immediate environment.
With leaves and water as her main subject, Marwa transforms real objects into organic looking free flowing shapes, bordering on abstract representation.
The finished product, mainly characterized of lines and imperfect geometric representation, is a continuation of her self exploration and fascination of previous works, dominated mainly by intersecting lines which are intercepted by light.
