‘Outside the line’ is the result of a two year art collaboration between contemporary artists; Omar Al Rashid, Marwa bint Rashid Al Khalifa and Mayasa Al Sowaidi.

Established artist Omar Al Rashid, shared his wealth of art experience and acrylic painting techniques with artists Marwa and Mayasa. In return he gained insights from the interaction and ideas that surfaced through working together in the same studio on a weekly basis from the younger artists. This successful collaboration allowed all three artists to develop their own distinct style that was different to the work they had previously produced. Their journey of self-discovery through experimentation had encouraged them to explore beyond their respective comfort zones, producing new abstract art works full of bold colours and leading lines.
