The Barbar visitor’s center will offer tourists and locals alike, information on the important archeological site of the Barbar Temple which was created in honor of the Enki, the god of sweet water. The temple is also the site where the famous Dilmun Bull was found, and the museum will offer a suitable showcase to display this important archeological artifact, along with other artefacts that were discovered on the site and the necessary information to understand them. The project has been conceived as underground museum, to which people have access mimicking similar rituals as those that were practiced in the Dilmun era.
