Throughout the year 2022, the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities will celebrate the diverse cultural and civilizational productions of the Kingdom of Bahrain, shedding light on the golden achievements propelling the cultural movement in the Kingdom and its sustainable infrastructure, and so the slogan of the year will be “Golden Jubilee".
This year, the Authority will revisit prominent projects and sites embraced within the Kingdom from museums, visitor centers, information, castles, historic homes and sites registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List, namely Qal’at al-Bahrain, the Pearling Path and the Dilmun Burial Mounds. Fifty books produced by the Knowledge Transfer Project will be commemorated, all which are among the most important literary works produced by human civilization translated into Arabic for the first time.
