Lebanon’s unique Crazy Opera makes its Manama debut at the National Theatre as part of the 22nd Bahrain International Music Festival. Soprano Samar Salamé, the creative force behind Les Mystères Lyriques and Promenades Lyriques, combines opera arias with Arabic beats and melodies in an innovative production of music, dance, and chorus. Joined by multitalented artist Ziad Nehmeh and Roger Abi Nader, Maestro Toufic Maatouk, the Beirut Chamber Orchestra, and Antonine University Choir, the Crazy Opera troupe brings our audience a delightful fusion of the classical, the contemporary and the oriental.
