Golden Jubilee Celebration of Bahrain-India Diplomatic Relations


The beginning of Bahraini Indian diplomatic relations is linked to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s half century of independence; it is wise leadership reflecting the openness of this land to different civilizations, peoples and cultures through a foreign policy promoting the gains of the Kingdom to the entire world. It is fitting that India is the first country to forge diplomatic relations as it was preceded by centuries of humanitarian, social and economic connections. The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities celebrates this Golden Jubilee of Bahraini Indian diplomacy through various programs.

 

The festive program celebrating the Golden Jubilee of Bahrain-India diplomacy is organized in cooperation with the Indian embassy in Bahrain, as well as the following cultural associations and societies: Maharashtra Cultural Society, Bahrain Odia Samaj, Telugu Kala Samithi, Kannada Sangha Bahrain and the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam. Golden sponsors of the festive program include, Lulu Group International, RP Group of Companies, BKGH Holding, Thattai Hindu Merchants Community, VKL Holdings and Al Namal Group of Companies. Silver sponsors feature Bahrain India Society, State Bank of India, New India Assurance Bahrain and the Asian Paints Berger company.

 

The celebration program includes a variety of events, literary, musical and educational activities between the period from 12 to 19 October 2021.
