Details of the Workshop:

As part of “The Young Artisan” program, Explore the art of weaving with the Weaving with a Wooden Loom Workshop, designed to teach children essential weaving skills, including identifying and blending different thread types with wool. Connect with the rich heritage of their ancestors as they delve into this timeless craft. Inspire creativity and curiosity in the young artisan.

 Workshop Topics Include:

  •  Discovering the types of threads used in the weaving textile industry.
  • Learning how to use a wooden weaving loom (small loom).
  • Practical guide to textile weaving craft.

 Workshop Outcomes:

 How to embroider on pin loom weaving, making a model piece of fabric cloth.
