the bahrain authority for culture and antiquities hosts the young archaeologist workshop with the goal of fostering a sense of national identity and increasing archaeological awareness among the youth. through this workshop, participants are introduced to the rich history and civilisation of the kingdom of bahrain. children are given the chance to engage in hands-on archaeological excavation, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of the subject. the ultimate aim is to cultivate a generation that values and appreciates their national cultural heritage, recognising its significance in preservation efforts.
