Al-Jasra Handicrafts Center is organizing a workshop on the art of macramé, which is a form of textile produced by knitting strings and cords in an artistic manner. Using just cotton cords, strings and pins, artisans can produce a wide range of items, from curtains and bags to necklaces, dresses, wedding backdrops, artworks, plant hangers, and much more. Sailors also used the technique to make fishing nets and splints for fractures.
The macramé art workshop is a 9-hour course open to participants 18 years old and above only. The workshop will be held solely in Arabic.

Workshop fees of 54 Dinars, to be paid directly to the trainer. Registration is limited to those who have been vaccinated.
