Brief:

An intensive workshop dealing with the art of writing a novel, introducing it and its elements, how to overcome obstacles that a novelist may face, and how to choose characters and write a narrative scene.

Workshop topics:

• Definition of a novel.
• Structuring elements of novel writing.
• How do you write the fictional character?
• Structures and types of subplots in the novel.
• The setting of the novel.
• How to write the beginning and the end of the novel.
• What is a narrative scene?
• Tools of creating tension in the novel.
• Techniques relevant to plot.

Target group: Beginners and lovers of fiction writing.

The workshop will be held in cooperation with the Narratives Laboratory
