The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities announces the launch of the Young Museologist at the Bahrain National Museum with the goal of strengthening the national identity and introducing the youth to the history and civilization of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This initiative targets children between the ages of 8-13 years old; introducing them to museology and the role of museums in preserving the cultural heritage of nations.
Participants will learn about the work done by the specialists at the museum from recording, restoring, exhibiting the collections, and tours. These practical activities will resemble reality.
The activities will take place every Thursday from 9-11:30 am during the month of August.
