About the Workshop:

Al-Jasra Handicrafts Center is organizing a workshop on the Jewellery Design Based on Source of Inspiration is considered as a creative art that needs certain techniques and goes through multiple stages, starting with the source of inspiration, which is the base of each successful design until it is transformed into a marvellous piece of jewelry. Jewelry designs are created by different types of shapes and drawings inspired by various sources depending on each designer's creativity, imagination and backgrounds, and it is varying from person to person, even if the source of inspiration was the same.

Workshop topics:

1. Designs inspired by different Cultures and sources of inspiration.

2. Different jewelry design methods.

3. Jewelry design steps:

• Inspiring the idea
• The Mood Board
• Manual drawing of a piece of jewelry.

 Workshop Outcomes:

At the end of the workshop, each trainee will present:

• A Mood Board based on the selected source of inspiration.
• An Initial design of a piece of jewelry (Manual drawing) based on the selected source of inspiration.
