Photography Workshop

Details of the Workshop:

Al Jasra Handicrafts Center is organizing a Mobile Photography Workshop aims to train participants through well- planned theoretical materials and various practical applications used in the photography studio and outdoor for first-level beginners. The Workshop aims to teach participants the basics of photography using more than 10 practical applications, in addition to learning the skill of controlling the camera lens, type of lighting and other skills that enhance the trainee's ability to complete the photographic process individually. From image composition and camera settings to lighting and photo editing techniques, the participant, therefore, is expected then to control every technical details in relation with the camera, the lighting, and has become, consequently, qualified to move to advanced and professional course levels.

The workshop will be held inside the photography studio with an outside tour under the supervision and guidance of the trainer. The teaching learning process will be conducted using dozens of theoretical material and practical applications that will qualify the trainee to enter advanced and professional courses.

 Workshop topics include:

•  Basics and mistakes to avoid in photography
• Difference between mobile camera and professional camera
• Key elements of a photograph
• Types of photography and shooting angles
• Exposure and adjusting focus from the mobile
• Mobile photography auxiliary accessories
• Types of light sources and their uses in artistic ways
• Total and partial insulation
• Inverters, distractions and how to exploit them
• HDR utility and use of technology
• Focus Select and Focus Adjust
• Rules of composition, foundations of photography and highlighting the aesthetic of the image
• Develop the creative side of photography
• Intensive practical applications and correct image output method within the studio
• Outdoor tour of additional practical applications on the last day of the workshop
• Recognize the field of image processing
• Learn to process images on some advanced mobile apps.
