Executive Chef and Entrepreneur Mahdi Taheri will lead a tour of Manama to explore the different markets of the old souq and to experience the commercial vibrancy of the city. On the route, you will pass the spice markets, traditional kitchenware, the local butcher and then head back to Bab Al Bahrain with the Chef who will create a special meal in one of his own steel master charcoal grills.
Chef Taheri who hails from Manama, has recently been on the show “Beban”, an initiative of the hope fund and has been awarded BD 120,000 to expand his business “Steel Masters”, the first BBQ grill machine completely manufactured in Bahrain.
