Weaving with a Wooden Loom

As part of the "Little Artisan" program, Al Jasra Handicrafts Center organizes a Weaving with a Wooden Loom workshop, which aims to educate and teach children about weaving skills, such as identifying the types of threads used and how to mix them with wool, etc. This workshop aims to encourage children to learn about the profession of their ancestors.

Targeted Main Objectives and Themes of the Workshop:

• Discovering the types of threads used in the weaving textile industry.
• Learning how to use a wooden weaving loom (small loom).
• Practical guide to textile weaving craft.

 Workshop outcomes:

 How to embroider on pin loom weaving, making a model piece of fabric cloth.

 Age: 7 - 12 Years

Language:  English & Arabic

• Workshop fees (including all tools).

 Place : Al Naseej House
