Terrazzo Plant Pots Making Workshop

Details of the Workshop:

Al Jasra Handicrafts Center organizes a Terrazzo Plant Pots Making Workshop. Terrazzo consists of mixing a group of crushed materials such as broken marble, stone pieces, granite pebbles, glass chips, etc., and is used in decorating facades and floors, in addition to decorating internal roads in farms and gardens. This workshop is about how to make terrazzo plant pots.

 Workshop topics include:

 Day 1

• Learn about the terrazzo stone and its history
• Get acquainted with the previous article.
• Learn how their color models work.
• Learn about the method of colors and materials and their alternatives

 Day 2

• Learn how to make a terrazzo plant pot
• Learn how to do a terrazo plant pot with smooth finish including sanding and surface cleaning.

 Workshop Outcomes:

•  Making Terrazzo Plant Pot.

 Wherby participants will be able to apply the techniques taught to produce different objects in the future.

Age: 18 years old and above.
