The Young Artisan - Embroidered Post Cards for Kids Workshop

Details of the Workshop:

As part of the "The Young Artisan " program and on the music festival, Al Jasra Handicrafts Center organizes a creative interactive workshop on the Embroidered post cards for kids.  Indeed, embroidery is known to be the art or handicraft of decorating fabric or other materials with needle and thread or yarn. Using different techniques or stitches, embroidery allows you to create beautiful embellishments on clothes, adding a unique touch, color and richness to the fabric used. This workshop focuses on learning the basic stitches of embroidery as a type of musical instrument and how to apply them to postcards. 

 Workshop topics include:

• Training kids to make an embroidered greeting card.
• Training in cutting postcards.
• Instrument stitching training
• Learn about embroidery tools.
• Learn how to transfer the musical instrument of the postcard.

Workshop Outcomes:

• Embroidered post cards of a musical instrument
